Creating your future one day at a time December 12, 2009

Some time back now I watched a really good movie that I hadn’t seen before and learned some really good lessons from. Paycheck, if you haven’t seen it before I highly recommend it, or if you have you might want to watch from a different perspective.

It is a really good movie and it has some really thought provoking points in it, the one that really stood out and caught my attention was when the main character said that we don’t need to see the future because it robs us of hope.

Not only that, he said that when we are able to see our future and don’t like something about it we would want to change it. Or you might find yourself wanting to avoid it avoid it altogether, so as not to face it at all.

Seeing the future is how things could have been messed up seriously in the movie and if you were to put that example to your life. You can easily see that the same messed up circumstances could happen in your own life if you knew what to expect and wanted to change things.

Think about it if you knew what was going to happen in the future would you still do the same things? I bet not and what if those things that you may not like so much were meant to happen for very important reasons.

Live fully who you are through your spirit November 20, 2009

I love things that come from the heart such as a well written poem or a true story or any number of things. That kind of things usually goes straight to the heart of the person reading and speaks directly to not only the heart but the soul and often times the spirit as well.

That is something that my friend Geoff Laughton does with his teachings, in improving your relationship with yourself and others. By giving you fully back to yourself and allowing you to live through your spiritual guidance with more freedom, peace and joy.

Just by simply living from the guidance of your spirit it gives the relationship you have with yourself and others more fulfillment. Personally I have to say that his work is very thought provoking and enlightening as well as allowing for us to become more insightful.

There is a big difference between living from spirit and living by what I would call living by default. One you are by your higher self for your highest good and create your life by your own design instead of living day to day and letting what comes your way, come.

This kind of living leads to feelings of being alone and depressed with no one on your side when the going gets tough. There is little or no joy and freedom can feel non existent and the difference with living your spirit is being your own best friend.

Your more attuned to life and able to allow in the good stuff that is naturally yours anyway, things that seemed difficult before. Are easy to handle because there is no longer the disharmony of self that there was before that caused anxious feelings before.

Over the last few years I learned that if we are not deeply connected to our spirit and let it guide our path in life it can seem like it’s all gray skys. That the sun isn’t shining even when it is and then you are living your life on default and not on purpose.

Your communication and relationship and everything else in life isn’t as good as can be when you are allow spirit to guide you. You really have to broke through your barrier and be who you truly are, life is so much more rich and full with so much more meaning and beauty to it.

Getting back to You is something that is very important.

Fall in love with the inner critic. November 15, 2009

The other day I got my time zones mixed up and missed a training call I wanted to listen in on, that was all right. Because I ended up listening to a different audio that I had but never had the time to listen to it, so since I had this free hour anyway I used it on that.

It was about money and your relationship with it, and how women see money different then men do, in terms of it being a relationship. If you have trouble getting or keeping money in your life it’s very likely because of a limiting belief to do with money.

Which means you need to create a better relationship with it and release the beliefs you have so they stop causing you trouble. There have been points in my life where I’ll want to reach for a goal bigger then normal and I would hear the inner critic sounding off.

I had to search out the source of that negative little voice in my head saying, You know you can’t do that. The trouble I found with it is that it was one of my loved ones sounding off in my head, meaning to keep me from hurt or failure.

That person would say you have all of these other steps to take first, and many of those would revolve around money. Like, “Yeah but you have to have money for that; to me it just sounded like the person didn’t believe in me and that’s what it can sound like.

Even though it wasn’t actually being said, as people we tend to take things differently then the way they were said. Since I didn’t feel supported I kept hearing critical words saying the opposite of what I needed to hear and really it would come from within.

“When you clear away a thought pattern of limitation, the quiet you feel after wards is authenticity.”

The above couldn’t be more true and it is a normal state of being that you may not have ever experienced. This is a state of feeling that I have experienced many times and it is what I would call being fully present in the moment.

I wanted to write a note about limiting thoughts and thought patterns after last night’s prosperity call with David and Kristin Morelli.A very good call I might add. I again made another thought pattern, breakthrough and this one I could probably have by myself but never really questioned until last night.

Now I feel a lot of quiet from it as that is the more natural state of being but one that many of us are uncomfortable with. The quiet inside of your head might in fact drive you crazy and so make you seek to be with others because you don’t want to be alone with self.

Though as I said before it is a state of being fully present in the moment to anything and everything around you at all times. Not to mention that when you are fully present the colors of everything are brighter then usual.

Releasing of a negative thought pattern that likely blocked you from your authentic self gives you that quiet fully present state. So that you are better able to attract to you the things that are authentic and in alignment with your authentic self.

Moreover releasing a part of you that is not authentic gives you room for what is to into your life and replace what isn’t. It also gives you room that will need to be filled with what is natural and authentic, whatever that is for you.

It also depends on what it is that you released and how big of a block it was, for me, pretty big, not to mention it had been there a long time. It was doubt, doubt, even without evidence to the contrary.

Have you ever asked yourself why you doubt something that you have no idea what rather it will be true or not? Why do you have doubts or think the way you do about certain things?

Do you ever question why you just start thinking the way you do? Or do you just start thinking and don’t even question it because you are so use to it.

Like when you see someone do something you have never done but have always wanted to and instead of trying it, you doubt yourself. You say; Oh I could never do that, I never thought about the reason behind thinking some of the limiting thoughts I did.

Go ahead and actually ask yourself that, matter of fact I challenge you! I bet if you did ask yourself you wont know why. You just do because you have always done this and have never questioned it, but when you become aware and question it, it loses energy.

It no longer has the same effect on you and like that it you are able to release it because it came the same way. Easy come and I mean really it is easy go, just that simple. Whatever thought pattern you may have that is limiting and you release it, decide upon the best replacement for it.

My thought limitation was doubt, it would come up when I wanted to step outside of current comfort zones. Even when I wanted something or to believe in something more then I was use to having, doubt and ego/fear would kick in and have its say.

So it was last night, when I made a choice and a decision and felt doubt and I asked myself how it served me. It didn’t serve and it wasn’t getting me anywhere and when I paid attention to my thoughts around certain things I noticed doubt creeping up.

This is the cool part about things like that when you stop trying to push back what is there and actually accept it. It loses its hold and you can let it go with little or no problem at all and that was the trouble with that thought pattern all along, it needed to be accepted.

After that it was easy and it needed to be replace with something else, so I replaced it with the thought of already having what I wanted. I started wondering how I would act and think when I had what I wanted, for example how do you act now?

How do successful people act? Think, walk and talk? When you start to wonder that and think, walk, talk and act like someone who is already successful it changes everything.

You can remove yourself from doubt and replace it with thinking, feeling and acting as if you are already successful. That is just what I mean when I say what would I do and how would I think, act or feel if I had the success someone famous has.

I decided I’ve known all along what it is like and that I already know how to walk, talk and act like that. It is to make a choice to do what I want every day and to do that when I want and not when I have to, because it all comes down to choice.

So it is in that way that I already have what I want and the things I do and say and the way I think and act. All reflect that and so it is to say, what do your thoughts and actions say about you and your life? Do they reflect what you want them to about you?

You can always change it starting with your thoughts and the way you walk.

Setting the stage to manifesting greatness October 26, 2009

The law of attraction is always at work in your life always for you attract through the thoughts that you think and your feelings. What you put focus on, energy flows to and you end up getting that whether you wanted it or not.

When viewed from that angle what do you want to attract? Answer that and put your focused energy on it. That is how you will attract it, because you are a magnet and are attractive to the things you want through thought and emotion and focused energy.

Does it seem harder for you to attract what you want then it does simply by focusing on your desires? Yes, there is more to it then that but simply shifting the things you think about on a day to day basis. You will be setting the stage to manifesting better things then you might normally manifest.

One of the best places to start is to be grateful for what you already have in your life, there is much to be grateful for. The great thing about that is there is more good then bad and moreover things are only bad if you give it that label.

Make up a list of at ten things a day every day and be truly grateful for it, it can be as simple as feeling good when you wake up. Give and receive, give thanks and a helping hand and learn to receive, a compliment or something no matter how small. The point is that you can not get what you want until or unless you learn to first receive.

Step into “flow state” often, if you are unfamiliar with flow state or how to access it, it is a high energy state of being. Where everything flows freely both to and from you, where you are able to give, receive and manifest pretty much without effort at fast rates.

The flow state is a perfect state of being and when in it you feel happy and excited it gives you the feeling of flying. It is a super charged state of feeling when you are in it nothing will knock you out of it unless save for not following your feelings.

In order for you to get into this state of bring you have match the vibration and the only way to do that is to changes. Your daily routines is a great place to start and do different things at different times and be spontaneous and go on feeling.

Since flow state is a high energy and vibrational state, two ways to match it is by thinking about fun things that you want to do. Or do those fun things! Having fun relaxes you and opens the doors to creativity and natural flow of energy.

Have fun with little things in little ways throughout your day just makes the whole day better re- energizes you. Try making even the smallest thing fun throughout your day, at the beginning of your day, at lunch time, when you get home for dinner find small ways to have fun.

Remember that your subconscious mind attracts to you what you get and it does so through your thoughts and emotions. So by doing the things you love your asking the universe to match your vibration and you will end up getting more of that.

Some of the best emotions to feel are: love, excitement, joy, passion, gratitude and of course laughter is always great. Any kind of positive emotion tells your subconscious mind that you want more of that feeling and it brings more of that which you ask for when you focus on it.

Like attracts like, it also works the opposite, so have fun! and think about fun things not the opposite. Unless that’s what you really want? Because that’s what you will get, like worry, stress or lack of money, it all creates more of what you don’t want.

Focus your attention on the things that make you happy and that you want more of or just because it makes you happy. Remember that what you focus on expends and feelings of appreciation attracts more to appreciate, be grateful and whatever you’re grateful for, you’ll attract more of it.

Whatever you want, think it, feel it and be around it, really just be the change you want to see, do it through thoughts and feelings. Feel that you already have what you want or think of someone else who does and find an off hand reason to be happy they have it.

It will will change any energy you hold around what you want into that of positive energy and make you more attractive. So that it will be easier for you to attract that which you so desire and in the process you are making it fun by being pleased for someone else.

Remember this if there is something in your life that you don’t like you need to find at least three things about it you like. Or you can try finding a new way to look at that whatever it is that you dislike or even better find something in that “thing” to be grateful for. If your seeing it from a negative perspective then it will only expend in a way you don’t want.

1. Be spontaneous and do something different at a time you wouldn’t usually do something fun.

2. Play and have fun often, not only does it de-stress you but it also makes your mind more creative, so you’re able to solve problems quicker.

3. Think about the fun things you want to do, like go to the beach or go the movie more often or you can even think about where you would like to go on vacation.

4. Try new things often and find new and small ways that you can truly enjoy yourself, and do the things you enjoy greatly as much as possible.

5. Create change in small and big ways. Instead of trying to be someone who can keep others guessing keep yourself guessing instead. By not always knowing what you are going to do next.

Just decide to do something and go for it and pay close attention to your feelings about it, your feelings are so important in the manifesting process. So always ALWAYS pay attention to your feelings and do whatever makes you feel good.

Journey’s end time to begin anew September 17, 2009

When the door closes on something good do you stand looking at the closed door so long and miss the open door? It is usually because you fear change so you stand and wait hoping against all hope that the closed door will reopen and let you back in.

Only once it is closed it will never open to you again because everything you needed to learn from it you already have. There is nothing more for you there but to pick up and move on but what you may not realize is that the closed door caused change too.

So even though you don’t want change and are scared of it you still get it whether or not you want it. It doesn’t matter what way you look at it the closed door behind you is change in and of itself as is the open door in front of you.

So you try to hold onto the close door as long as you can because you know it and all it holds but the new door you do not. Since it is unexplored who knows what it might hold for you and some times you would rather not chance it.

In childhood I use to hold onto the good times with all my might never wanting to let go for anything. Because I found change so scary and thought that good times were few and far in between.

When I was five or six years old there was almost always places to go and people to visit, friends, cousins and grandparents. As I got older those times that were so fun became fewer and fewer so I started to miss them more and more.

Whenever someone would stop by for a while and leave I got a huge sense of loss and didn’t want them to leave. As I got a bit older I started hating those times and didn’t want to see anyone anymore hoping to not feel the emptiness it left behind.

So much so that I started hating any change big or small and would dig in my feet against anything I didn’t like. Or something that had the appearance of bringing change along with it and when something did I always wanted it to go back to what it had been.

To that degree some of us fear change because at a young age if it gives you a strong painful emotion. An emotion you don’t know how to deal with that comes from change so you will always fear change and be afraid of anything that is in any way related to it.

Thus you get a strong sense of dread whenever you start a new journey or think you are going to start a new journey. Usually you stop yourself from moving forward because you try to hold onto something that you feel is good not wanting to loss it.

At the end of every journey another one begins and at the end you are not only saying good bye to something good. You are also saying good bye to a part of you that you were and no longer need so you can become more.

doorwayOnly the release of good bye can allow you to move on and become more and be who you are meant to be. Journeys end does not have to be sad unless you make it that way instead it can be a joy of saying thank you for all I was and learned and will become.

You can say good bye with happiness for all the journey has brought you and for the wonderfully thought of what is to come. When one door closes another one opens and when you have completed a journey are about to say good bye and move on say thank you for everything.

Let everything that you saw, felt, thought and experienced come to mind and be grateful for it all and move forward. I look forward to every new beginning and gratefully say good bye because there is always one person that come with me on every journey.

That person I know I will always get to take with me no matter what and that person becomes better with every passing day. That person to me is of course me and when you look in the mirror the person that goes with you on all your own journeys is YOU.

Beautiful wonderful you! Always love the person you are and be grateful that you will always be there for everything.

So has ended for me a journey that seems I started a lifetime ago now and yet it wasn’t so long at all.  Now I joyfully start a new one that is even more amazing then the one before because of all the changes I see in myself and in life surrounding.

There is much beauty to see when you are in between the ending of one journey and the beginning of a new one. Look around you the color of everything is brighter and the things you see every day or brighter.

Every has looks the same but has somehow changed because it is you that has changed and when you do. Everything else changes with you, because it is all you and always has been and always will be.

Take a good look.

When I grow up I’m get married to the man/woman of my dreams and I’m going to be healthy wealthy, wise and live happily ever after. Sound like anything you have ever thought or said or even heard a friend or a child say?

It doesn’t really matter where your at in life, who your with, how old you are, how tall or short you are. No matter what kind of job you have or what your dreams might be, everything wants pretty much the same thing in life.

To be happy, healthy and wealthy but with life the way it is these days you start working any job you can get. Starting in high school and even if you don’t like it it’s still money and you need it so you do it.

After that it’s into college if you’re lucky and once again usually working any job you can get to pay for tuition. Once you get out of college you can’t always get the kind of job you want and then you get stuck with another job you don’t like.

Then you meet someone who you like and what do you know? The feeling is mutual! You date away then decide to get married. Then there’s a house to buy and payments for everything you can think of from car or truck payment to house payment etc.

Then children come along and before you know it life is flying by you and you don’t any of the things you wanted. Your not anything you wanted to be and your WHERE you wanted to be in your life either.

Sure your married and you have a nice family and a house but with working a job you don’t like and not making enough. Your not happy and because you have to work long hours just to put food on the table you don’t get out enough.

So your health isn’t what it could be or even should be, this is where life sadly enough finds a lot of people these days. Then there are always searching for the things they want that they don’t have like happiness.

Some don’t even get married or have a nice house or the money they want to have either but they have happiness. Some people want love or health or wealth or happiness because not many have all of them at once.

Not everyone wants or needs the same things and so naturally not everything everyone wants falls under the same category. More often then not someone wants love, happiness, joy, peace, prosperity and abundance.

No matter what you want in life something’s can be gotten but it is you that has to give them to yourself. Not someone else because of what we want we already have don’t even know it and we can give it to self.

Other times you need to be what you or in other words, “Be the change you want to see.; you need to think it. Act it, walk it, talk it, see it, breath it and feel it in order to have it, you have must create it.

See most things start in the mind anyway and if you start there you can build it up slowly little step by little step. So if you want it become it and you will have it and find that you have had it all along and didn’t even know it.

So in order to create it, think about what you want, so let us say that it is love you want, feel love even if you don’t believe it’s there. See love, in yourself and be loving and kind to yourself and to others, that’s acting it.

Walk it, take good care of yourself, because you will be able to take care of others that same way someday. It all has to start with you and if you can not love yourself or be loving to yourself then you are no good to another.

See it, look for something to love in yourself and in others and even the people you don’t care for that is your biggest challenge. When you can find even a little bit of love in someone whom you do not care for then you know it’s working.

Speak love in little ways and when you breath in imagine you are breathing in love and feel it so that when you do this automatically. You will know that you are on your way to being what you wanted in the first place and can get it from another because you are no longer “wanting” it.

Because you have, you are it and when people want something all they ever seem to get is more wanting. Never actually ever get it so when you become it you don’t have the want because you are it and you can get it so much easier.

So work with that for a while and not just in that area but use it for the other things that you want that it will work for.

Setting positive habits to support change. May 18, 2009

Ever wanted to make a really big change like making a New Year’s resolution? Instead found you could not hold to it for very long?

Everyone has made a resolution to do something and broke it too. As they say, you have to break a really big goal like that into several smaller steps, because it is easier to handle and follow through on.

The reason people don’t keep a resolution is because they make them from a negative place of “I need to do that” instead of doing something because you want. Things get done when they are done from a positive approach, of wanting to do it, which is not the case of the opposite situation.
