“When you clear away a thought pattern of limitation, the quiet you feel after wards is authenticity.”

The above couldn’t be more true and it is a normal state of being that you may not have ever experienced. This is a state of feeling that I have experienced many times and it is what I would call being fully present in the moment.

I wanted to write a note about limiting thoughts and thought patterns after last night’s prosperity call with David and Kristin Morelli.A very good call I might add. I again made another thought pattern, breakthrough and this one I could probably have by myself but never really questioned until last night.

Now I feel a lot of quiet from it as that is the more natural state of being but one that many of us are uncomfortable with. The quiet inside of your head might in fact drive you crazy and so make you seek to be with others because you don’t want to be alone with self.

Though as I said before it is a state of being fully present in the moment to anything and everything around you at all times. Not to mention that when you are fully present the colors of everything are brighter then usual.

Releasing of a negative thought pattern that likely blocked you from your authentic self gives you that quiet fully present state. So that you are better able to attract to you the things that are authentic and in alignment with your authentic self.

Moreover releasing a part of you that is not authentic gives you room for what is to into your life and replace what isn’t. It also gives you room that will need to be filled with what is natural and authentic, whatever that is for you.

It also depends on what it is that you released and how big of a block it was, for me, pretty big, not to mention it had been there a long time. It was doubt, doubt, even without evidence to the contrary.

Have you ever asked yourself why you doubt something that you have no idea what rather it will be true or not? Why do you have doubts or think the way you do about certain things?

Do you ever question why you just start thinking the way you do? Or do you just start thinking and don’t even question it because you are so use to it.

Like when you see someone do something you have never done but have always wanted to and instead of trying it, you doubt yourself. You say; Oh I could never do that, I never thought about the reason behind thinking some of the limiting thoughts I did.

Go ahead and actually ask yourself that, matter of fact I challenge you! I bet if you did ask yourself you wont know why. You just do because you have always done this and have never questioned it, but when you become aware and question it, it loses energy.

It no longer has the same effect on you and like that it you are able to release it because it came the same way. Easy come and I mean really it is easy go, just that simple. Whatever thought pattern you may have that is limiting and you release it, decide upon the best replacement for it.

My thought limitation was doubt, it would come up when I wanted to step outside of current comfort zones. Even when I wanted something or to believe in something more then I was use to having, doubt and ego/fear would kick in and have its say.

So it was last night, when I made a choice and a decision and felt doubt and I asked myself how it served me. It didn’t serve and it wasn’t getting me anywhere and when I paid attention to my thoughts around certain things I noticed doubt creeping up.

This is the cool part about things like that when you stop trying to push back what is there and actually accept it. It loses its hold and you can let it go with little or no problem at all and that was the trouble with that thought pattern all along, it needed to be accepted.

After that it was easy and it needed to be replace with something else, so I replaced it with the thought of already having what I wanted. I started wondering how I would act and think when I had what I wanted, for example how do you act now?

How do successful people act? Think, walk and talk? When you start to wonder that and think, walk, talk and act like someone who is already successful it changes everything.

You can remove yourself from doubt and replace it with thinking, feeling and acting as if you are already successful. That is just what I mean when I say what would I do and how would I think, act or feel if I had the success someone famous has.

I decided I’ve known all along what it is like and that I already know how to walk, talk and act like that. It is to make a choice to do what I want every day and to do that when I want and not when I have to, because it all comes down to choice.

So it is in that way that I already have what I want and the things I do and say and the way I think and act. All reflect that and so it is to say, what do your thoughts and actions say about you and your life? Do they reflect what you want them to about you?

You can always change it starting with your thoughts and the way you walk.

Ego friend or foe? October 21, 2009

Just recently I did some research on the subject of ego to get a better understanding of it and get someone else’s take on it. One thing I have to say is that if you do not befriend ego it can take over and run the whole show for you, with or without your say so.

Ego is really good at sabotaging your manifesting efforts with upstream thoughts; where you can feel that if you don’t get some certain things done you’re not moving forward. You might feel stuck in place not making progress.

When working but not at one my set goals it can leave you feeling that you are you’re not doing anything important. Ego usually has you doing things that you might not want to do simply to make the ego image of you seem complete.

John Eaton of Reverse thinking describes ego as {a false idea about what and who you are. It is an idea you took over from other people. It is never who you really are it is only what you “think” you are, but do not actually see yourself because of ego getting in the way.

Ego turns up in people’s lives in many different ways and forms and does so differently for everyone. Although there is one thing that many people hold on a collective level, they go after
Material things because it makes the ego happy for a while.

It worries about things and stresses about what hasn’t been done yet, it acts as a driving force to get things done. Ego likes or wants to be young beautiful or good looking, smart and  of course it always wants to be successful so it pushes you onward always.

It is no wonder that some want to be free of it or transcend it although however knowing all that I know about it I would rather align with it. You can treat it like a naughty child that did something wrong and is going to be grounded for it, it is a part of you like it or not.

You might think of it as the dark side of you and try to hide it away or worse yet try to hide from it and pretend it doesn’t exist. Align with it because it IS a part of you and you can work together with it you just have to learn to tell when it is trying to run the show.

1. Be present to your thoughts and know when it feels counter productive, going up stream. Feeling to hard.

2. Be aware of the reasons why you want to do things, is it because you want to impress others?

3. Pay attention to feelings of being left out or left behind others, it can bring resentment along with it for the ride. It is only another way ego plays its hand in your life.

4. Don’t take things personally, a favorite quote is “What others think of you is none of your business” only ego cares what others think of you. You’re authentic knows is secure in itself and what others say or think do not matter.

5. Constantly remind yourself that you are in this moment right where you need to be, you know the things you need to know.

It might seem like your dark side that you keep a locked up secret from others like a part of you that you don’t like. Maybe you feel that angry is somehow wrong or showing sadness is an unwanted thing so you hide it away from the world.

That ma not necessary be your dark side but you might feel that ego is like having a dark side so you don’t want to accept it. Accepting it is the best thing you can do, everyone has one and it’s not really a bad thing, I would suggest making it more of a welcomed part of you.

One way I suggest doing this is an exercise that intuitive guide and spiritual teacher Sonia Choquette suggests, called naming it. Make your ego a pet and give it a name, pick any animal you want that way it is no longer thought of as bad but as a cute pet that has a name.

Believe me you this works really great because whenever I know that ego is trying to have it’s say over things I do. I think of it as a cute animal and do things a little differently so that everything aligns with both authentic self and ego pet.

Taking the negative out of the situation August 6, 2009

Have you ever found yourself putting to much of your focused attention on the negative even though you knew you shouldn’t be doing so? It seems that no matter how positive the person is, at one time or another you can still find yourself seeing the negative from time to time.

“Change the way you look at things and the things you look at will be changed as a result.” Those are never truer words are words I hear so often. If you were to change the way you were looking at something it would change as a direct result of that.

It is our perception of something that makes it what it is, because it is neither positive nor negative and how we see it makes it so. It is said that our DNA, thoughts and emotions have an effect on our surroundings, then it is by our very perception that our reality is created.

If the reality is either positive or negative it is only so because that is what is created by us alone, so the quote above is correct. I had all but forgotten something that always removes the negative side of things for me and allowed me to look beyond what I normally see.

Those are the words that everything you see is perfect, be the situation and circumstances good or bad they are somehow, perfect. In reading those words and remembering to look at things like that once again I realized that in everything that was going on there was so much positive in it.

Sure I wasn’t able to connect to the internet with my computer until it got fixed but feeling that somehow everything was perfect. That it all was exactly as it should be allowed me to stop putting my attention on the things I perceived to be negative.

More then that it allowed me to look at the things I saw as negative and say that if they were negative somehow they were as they should be. So if they were as they should be then what else was there to see instead and I started really looking closely at everything else.

I was then able to really see all that was positive there that I didn’t see before, because I didn’t allow myself to do so. There is always lots more to see if you allow yourself to see it, but when your focusing on the negative your picture is thus limited.

Your really not seeing the whole picture when you focus on the negative, maybe you are not seeing the whole picture if you focus on the positive. It certainly is a better picture to see but it does not mean that you are not able to see everything even then either.

All it really means is that you are seeing the brightest side of the picture and it gives you more clarity to see everything. In its true form, it’s like when you are seeing only one side of something you are missing the best part.

When you focus on the negative you block any and all energy from coming and going so that nothing moves, it just stays the same. If it’s blocked there isn’t any balance and there must be a balance between positive and negative.

If you were trying to manifest something it would not easy to do simply because you are blocking the energy needed to bring it to you. Because you are only seeing one of side things and that side being by far lesser of the sides to see, the negative side.

All you will get from that is more of the same and more negative then you bargained for, that is why change is so important to us. One small and simply change like the way you see and perceive things to be can be an easy answer to the problem.

Acceptance of a situation as is be it good or not so good releases negativity around the situation and allows you to see too good in it. More often then not you are to close to any situation to see clearly until it is past.

If you were to ask someone looking at it from the outside they will have better judgment on the subject then yourself. An outsider sees the whole picture instead of just seeing one side of it and total acceptance of the situation will do the same for you.

That is the beauty of seeing things as they are and feeling and thinking that they are perfect because it allows you to distance yourself. The distance can bring new insight and release negative feelings around any situation and let you see the whole picture.

Removing yourself farther from the situation is how you stand back and look at a picture and when you do that. You are able to learn whatever lessons that were in the perceived “bad” situation.

Don’t wait for something to come along to knock you down before you will step back and see the whole picture. Look for the beauty in everything and accept what is for what it is and if you still can’t see the positive then ask for an outside opinion.

There is something in good in everything that is seemly bad and some times all you have to do is remove yourself a bit. Though trust my word on this it’s there.
